This blog is dedicated to my Streak For The Cash. It is a competition on ESPN to pick the most consecutive "bets" on sporting events. At the end of each month the longest streak gets 100,000 dollars. The most correct picks that month gets 2,500. Not only will I reveal my picks here but show what my pick would be for all games(you can only pick one game at a time) I hope you enjoy leave a comment on what your picks would be.
My first pick of the day went with German Bundesliga Soccer. The team names are unpronouncable and it's really a crap shoot in games like this. People will often take the away team just because they usually have the W or D. The streakmaster likes to pick these where the home team still has a slightly better chance so I went with the home team and ended up with a loss.
In tonights game I like the Georgetown making more 3's than West Virginias winning margin. Games like this are always tough to call because if Georgetown makes a lot of threes they will probably not get killed. If they miss a lot of three's they will get killed.
My next pick will depend on when the first game ends. IF it's over in time I will take under 148 points for the OU/Texas game. The Vegas line is 144.5 so I like the under. If it's not over by that time I will take Chris Kaman of the LA Clippers to get more points/rebounds than Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz points/assists. The Clippers are at home and Kaman has been averaging about 3.5 more points/rebounds than Williams has been have points/assists. Good luck to all and see you tomorrow.
